Rodrigo Terpins Ranked 8th Position in the 22nd Edition of Sertões Rally

In 2014, the Sertões Rally marked its 22nd edition by some few competitors and adversities in Brazil. The Sertões Rally is the largest off-road race which consists of 2 states, seven stages, and 2,600 kilometers. Rodrigo Terpins, a well-known Brazilian rally driver and Fabrício Bianchi seized an overall ranking of position eight among 38 competitors for the Prototype T1 category. Due to the evolution of the pair in the various stages, the accumulated kilometers of the five-day race enabled the pair to reach the 3rd position.

About Rodrigo Terpins and His Family History

As a rider and member of the Bull Sertões Rally Team, Rodrigo Terpins has achieved promising results thus far. Rodrigo has accumulated several victories where he competes in the T1 prototype category for the rally Brazilian championships. Rodrigo’s passion for rally racing is his blood since his father Jack Terpins is also quite passionate about sports. Rodrigo Terpins ventures into rally track competitions in Brazil whereas during his youth, Jack Terpins dedicated himself to basketball. Apart from having the same passion for sports, Rodrigo and his father are also both successful entrepreneurs. Currently, Jack Terpins is a real estate investor and serves as a community leader in the Jewish world.

Also Rodrigo’s brother, Michel Terpins is also a member of the Bull Sertões Rally Team. Michel and his rally partner Justo won the second stage of the 24th Edition of the Sertões Rally with an overall ranking of 5th position. On 23rd August 2017, he closed in 6th in the Prototypes during the 25th edition of the Sertões Rally. Currently, Michel Terpins leads in the Cross Country Rally Championship held in Brazil. In 2002, Michel made his debut in the motorcycle category and afterward sailed for Rodrigo Terpins in the cars category and pilot T-Rex in the last four years, developed by the MEM team.

This year, the rally race will take place in the states of Mato Grosso which is Midwest. There are 280 pilots, participants, and navigators expected from all regions of the country to participate in the car category. In total, the race will cover 3,300.06 kilometers.
