Avi Weisfogel is an experienced dentist with over 15 years working in the industry. Dr. Weisfogel graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He is also an alumnus of Rutgers University having studied biology and psychology at the university. He forays in the field, especially as a dentist and entrepreneur began in 1999 when he opened a private dentist practice, Old Bridge Dental Care. While he won several accolades as the best dentist, his interaction with dentistry patients suffering from sleep disorders ignited a new passion in him: sleep apnea.
Weisfogel dedication to advancing knowledge on sleep disorders saw him found Healthy Heart Sleep in 2010. While he established several companies between 2010 and 2014 including Healthy Heart Sleep and Owner Unlimited Sleep Patient, the founding of Dental Sleep Masters marked a significant step towards creating awareness of sleep disorders among dentists. As a staunch believer in the right of children to quality healthcare, he recently started a GoFundMe page with the aim of raising approximately $2,000. The funds raised will go towards Operation Smile’s campaign towards providing cost-free solutions to surgically correct cleft and other dental deformities in children and young adults around the world.
